The 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Report has been released, providing vital information about the health and well-being of the community. The report is the result of a comprehensive and collaborative effort involving healthcare providers, community organizations, and local residents. It examines a wide range of health issues, including access to care, chronic disease prevalence, mental health, and social determinants of health.
Over the span of 8 months 2022 and 2023, over1,300 completed Wellbeing Assessment Survey responses were collected. The Wellbeing Assessment Survey was designed to gauge North Suffolk resident's perception of the community and to identify areas where residents feel their needs could be met more effectively. Survey topics included access to healthcare, education, childcare, housing and other community resources. Results were stratified by a range of identifying characteristics like primary language, race, demographic, age, ethnicity, and gender. These results will be used to draft a Community Health Assessment which will be the guide to improve the communities for all residents. Results can be found below.
