Attend the Steering Committee Meeting

North Suffolk Assessment Steering Committee will take place:

  • February 6th, 10-11:30am
  • BID HealthCare-Chelsea, 1000 Broadway, Chelsea
  • Draft agenda to include:
    • Status updates on the iCHNA Survey
    • Review / approve recent work of the Instrument Review Sub-Committee re: Focus Group and Key Informant Interview guides
    • Review / approve recent work of the Community Engagement Sub-Committee re: population segments targeted for inclusion and specific organizations to contact for information
    • A look forward: initial discussion of what the iCHNA report (and Community Health Improvement Plan) would look like and what we would want out of it to be most helpful to everyone. How could the report and plan best add value to what we already do?

Attend the next Sub Committee Meeting

A joint meeting of the Community Engagement and Instrument Sub-Committees will take place:

    • January 15th, 10-11:30am
    • E.B. Newton Bldg, Lyceum Room, 45 Pauline St. Winthrop
    • Agenda items will include (but are not limited to):
      • Review the iCHNA Outreach Database, identify who has the best contacts and ensure we will gather information about all community segments, including those who may be hidden or marginalized (here’s a recent, powerful commentary on the latter by Dr. Sandro Galea of the BU School of Public Health:
      • Work on the language of questions for Focus Group and Key Informant Interview guides.
